COMPUTER CONTROLLED MACHINING
This week's paper is on computer controlled machining.
ASSIGNMENT

• do your lab safety training
• test runout, alignment, speeds, feeds, materials, and tool paths for our machine
single assignment:
• make (design+mill+assemble) something big (~metric scale)
For the individual task, as in our institute we still do not have the machines installed, I designed a library cabinet of 1.5 m x 0.9 m x 0.3 m, the material that I will use is MDF, 10 mm thick.
Design
For the parametric design, do it in Solidworks. Next, I show the design made in exploded view and assembled.
